First off, OBAMA GOT INAUGURATED. Yeah, late news, but I am still in shock.

I cried during his inaugural address. And everyone around me was like, "What the fuck, Tara?"

Yeah, no one else was taking as seriously as I was. Haha. It was quite an amazing moment. We all started cheering when he got sworn in. Obama just seems more real than any other president we've had. He connects so much with the people.

So once I got home, I checked my MySpace, and looked at the bulletins. I saw that The Cab had announced ANOTHER tour. I was anxious to see if they were coming here, but I didn't get my hopes TOO TOO up.

I started scrolling through the tour dates, and all of a sudden, I see my state.

I turn my eyes to the right, only to see "THE RECHER THEATRE" in bold print.

HOLY FUCK. Recher Theatre is MY FAVORITE VENUE EVER!!!

AND THE CAB IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BAND EVER!

So it's the perfect combination, right?

And today, Whisper War came out on vinyl!

I wanna get it, but my mom probably will refuse to buy it for me for NoRuz, because we don't even have a record player :/

Oh well, I still really want it, plus a Marshall Threads necklace. I'm still being extremely indecisive about which one I wanna get.

The next greatest day of my life will definitely be the day I see them live. I can't WAIT!!!

IT'S GONNA BE SOOO BORING NOW!

A Ravens-Eagles Super Bowl would've been THE BEST, so the Ravens could SHIT ON THE EAGLES!

And because of a goddamn motherfucking Steeler, WILLIS MCGAHEE ALMOST FUCKING DIED.

As you can see, I am extremely pissed right now.

I shall now do some breathing exercises to calm down.

FUCKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEW YORK IS AMAZING!

I seriously want to live there someday, when I get rich :]]]]

Times Square and Rockefeller Center, however, are getting really overrated. After going to New York a couple times, it gets kinda boring. They were SOOO crowded. There was like this massive crowd headed towards Rockefeller Center, and we had to cut through Saks just to avoid it.

Speaking of Saks and other extravagant stores, the fifth avenue Louis Vuitton store was just amazing. And it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find the bathrooms in Trump Tower. They are clean though.

Also, the Apple Store on fifth avenue is soooo cool. There was this elevator thing that just blew me away. I just really loved all of fifth avenue. I actually felt rich as I was walking into the Chanel store. Hahaha.

Also, the fashion district is great. I love the little local shops in New York. We were gonna go to mood fabrics, but we had to go like two avenues over and we really didn't feel like it.

Oh yeah, and I almost got stuck at a subway stop by Central Park. My damn metro card wasn't working! But I just crawled under. Ahh, I love New York.

On the way home, we stopped by Grimaldi's in Brooklyn for some pizza. We were expecting like, straight up BROOKLYN STYLE PIZZA, but it was still REALLY good. And then we headed home. I really didn't want to leave.

Oh, how I just LOVE the holidays!

Christmas is by far the most interesting time of year.

So my aunt and a family friend got in some stupid fight, and my aunt faked sick so she didn't have to come to the Christmas Eve party at my family friend's house.

Then we got there, discovered that our friend is engaged, like, randomly, and start pigging out on chips. My cousin starts telling stories from when we were all little, except I wasn't born yet, or I was too young to remember any of it. Damn, why do I have to miss out on all the good times?

One of my second cousins, who's just about two years old, breaks my uncle's guitar! But no one seems to care because she's just too cute. Oh yeah, and my cousins seriously gonna give birth like any second now. She's huge!

By now, we've been there for like three hours, and still no dinner. Luckily, dinner was just around the corner. I can't remember the last time I had pot roast that good.

Oh yeah, and throughout the ENTIRE PARTY, everyone's like, "Oh my god, Tara! You're wearing heels!" And I'm just like, "Uhh, yeah, did you REALLY think I was this tall?"

Then, we start opening presents, and I get presents from everyone because I'm under 18 =]. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but one of my aunts got me the most hideous sweater I've ever seen, and it's like an inch wide. It could seriously fit like a four year old. But then again, that particular aunt and her husband have always thought I will always fit into little kiddie clothes.

We stayed for about two hours, filled up on cheesecake, tirramisu, and pumpkin pie, then we left.

This morning, my sister and I had an interesting discussion about crazy celebrity baby names. Apparently, someone named their kid Audio? Haha.

Then we all started fighting over who-knows-what. I love the holidays so fucking much.
